How we come into being (ontology) and how we
become sick (pathology) arise from the same source.
To penetrate the identity of our patients is to grasp
how their soma and psyche are organized, and
recognize their nature, also known as their type.
First comes learning the clinical skill of how to
identify a person’s nature and developmental
patterns. By exploring how the recognition of a
person’s constitutional pattern or type can inform
therapeutic decisions and strategies, an appreciation
of the clinical value of this model is seen. By watching
a digital video of babies from a busy pediatric clinic,
we will see for ourselves what is currently being
researched as a tool for making prognostic and
developmental evaluations of infants and toddlers. |
