Not only representing the future of environmental leadership, these youth are already daringly engaged in green programs and initiatives throughout the Bay Area. Learn more about their creative, groundbreaking work. ACRJ is a grassroots community-based organization based in Oakland, California that works with communities and organizations to advance reproductive justice on the local, state and national levels. CRP transforms blighted areas of the community through murals, community clean-ups, landscaping and gardening, and community celebrations. CYMC is a San Francisco-based, youth-driven, digital media production studio providing the training necessary for inner-city youth to create quality media that represents their experiences and promotes social change. ESLI is an enthusiastic collaboration that brings critical environmental education through youth-empowered service learning into high school classrooms throughout the city of San Francisco. Utilizing hip-hop culture to engage youth of color in the green movement, G4G creates green pathways to success by empowering underserved populations through education and training on the environment and the burgeoning green economy.
