Frances Gray, Wild-Life Warriors& the Overcoming of Nature/ Ann Marie Molnar, Terroir: Reflections on Landscape…/ Debra Merskiin, Televised Predators and the Threat to our Planet

 
Frances Gray, PhD holds a doctorate in Philosophy from the Australian National University. She lectures in Philosophy at the University of New England, Armidale, NSW, Australia where she has lived and worked since 1 2007.Ann Marie Molnar, MA Terroir: Reflections on Psyche, Nature and Creativity What landscapes call to us? Why do the seeds of our lives sprout and flourish in certain conditions and languish in others? Some landscapes awaken poetic sensitivities and inspire great works of art. I imagine the earth a expressions of planetary art, sculpted by our planet, not only in body, but also in soul. The French have a term called Terroir, which refers to how various aspects of terrain effects the growth of grapes and the quality of w influenced by the environmental terroir. In my presentation, I will explore terroir and the Debra Merskin, PhD is an Associate Professor and faculty member in the School of Journalism & Communication at the University of Oregon where she is head of the Communication Studies sequence. Her research foc publications appear in journals such as Sex Roles, The Howard Journal of Communication, and American Behavioral Scientist. She is also a Ph.D. student in the Depth Psychology program at Pacifica Graduate Institute. ecopsychology.connection between landscape and psyche, observing how we are shaped and drawn to the morphologies that captivate us. Ann Marie Molnar, MA is a writer, Dreamtender, hypnotherapist, and artist. Her articles and short stories have been published in various magazines and journals.
