| The USA PATRIOT Act is an acronym for “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism.” This act attacks our basic and fundamental rights against unreasonable search and seizure allowed under this Act based on a mere allegation of “terrorism investigation” or “threat to National Security”. This workshop will explore the implications on our society as a result of the Patriot Act. |
