| Shelley Moskowitz, the Washington, DC Representative of the human rights group Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC), will present and discuss "Heroes of the Spirit", a documentary of the heroic saga of UUSC founders, the Rev. Waitstill and Martha Sharp, who were recently named "Righteous Among the Nations" for their rescue of Jews and political dissidents from the Nazis in 1939. The workshop will include discussion of the current genocide in Darfur and UUSC's Drumbeat for Darfur campaign. |
